My very first oil painting, and also very old. The only two paintings I have ever done are in oil if your wondering, on a monet canvas set. This picture is actually of another painting of scenery based on the Lord of the Rings novel, so if it looks familiar you now know why, but I changed some of the scenery and took out the clouds and added more light waves and more lights to the city. Keep in mind this picture is taken by my digital camera so its probably not as good as it should look in real life but heres a rough idea of what i can do.

This is a beautiful piece. The colors are excellently represented and so is the light. The fading mountainscape is also done very nicely--not too overexaggerated or anything. The details are lovely.

Truly, a wonderful piece of work.
